    This puzzle had me questioning reality, my intelligence, and my sanity. While the illustrations of the moving staircases are super cute, there is not a correct reference photo. The box and insert are different, and by the time you figure that out, it’s too late. You’re too far gone. There is no turning back. So if you buy this puzzle and say, have friends over to work a puzzle and drink beer, just know that you will all be wishing you knew a couple of Dark Arts curses for whoever made this.

    It’s a cute puzzle, love the box it came in. Also cool that it came with a little booklet of facts. Unhappy that they spent time on the booklet that was unnecessary, but didn’t include a proper reference photo. So I’m adding another review to everyone else’s to say the company should start including a reference photo instead of the booklet.

    I liked the picture/art, but . . . there was no picture reference included (except a small thumbnail on the paper wraparound). The box has a edited/adjusted art, I had to download a picture of the puzzle (on my phone) to complete it. Also the puzzle cut was off by 1/8 inch (on the left and top) which reversed the image (see pictures) and caused the overall picture to look off. The pieces are not a unique piece cut and near the end, I had to swap a few similar pieces to complete the puzzle.

    I bought this for a coworker as a birthday present. She is a big Harry Potter fan and also a lover of puzzles, so this was the perfect combo. She absolutely loved it! The “book” box is also very good quality and sturdy.

    I never leave Amazon reviews but this was so frustrating. At first, I was frustrated that the puzzle didn’t come with a large final image to work off of. I decided, oh well it will be a challenge and I can work off the box and keep rotating it.Then I notice that they have changed the images on the box and it doesn’t match the full puzzle. Slightly annoying bc now there is nothing to work off of. Oh well.Then I flip through the booklet and see them skimp out on either a proper print company or a proper design company because the art work is low-res.I move on. As I work my way through the puzzle, I notice that there are only a handful of unique shapes, so you have to be very careful to make sure the image is lining up because the piece fit won’t necessarily mean it’s correct.And then I get to the end. I’m somehow missing 6 pieces and have 2 spare pieces. I did it all in the last day so I dug through the trash to make sure I didn’t throw some pieces away with the bag. Nope. Just poor quality control and a sad money grab.

    It does not indeed come with a reference. But it’s not hard, it made it slightly more challenging but more fun in a way. I think people complaining about the lack of reference must just be bad a puzzles. We finished it in a few hours, had tons of fun 👍🏽

    End result is cute. BUT – there is no accurate reference picture. The box and the booklet inside do not actually match the puzzle. This made it much more difficult to complete. I was able to complete it based off of the photo another reviewer left. This puzzle took much longer than it should have due to this issue. The pieces are also low quality and will fit together even if they aren’t the correct pieces.

    Bought for grandchildren, and there was not a decent size picture included of completed puzzle to work from…. Only pictures included were partial pics or 1 small about 2” square full pic

    I’m so unhappy. I’ve reached out to seller and no response whatsoever. The puzzle came and is missing a piece and came with two duplicate pieces as well. Such a waste of money. If I could give no stars I would.
